Extremely dramatic, full scale. work of art that combines minimalist with whimsy. We believe this, one of a kind, outdoor sculpture was created by Listed New York Metal Sculptor, William Bill Heise. (1942-2011) I wrote to an art gallery that has represented Heise’s artworks. They said it definitely looked like his work and that since his sculptures are made of found objects, some aren’t signed. Vintage, whimsical, modernist, 62" Tall, Iron Outdoor Heron Sculpture, is composed of found iron parts, including a wrench, horseshoes and a can opener, all fused together to create a dynamic and joyful, minimalist sculpture. This is an early work by the San Francisco and Vermont Heise Metal Studios, which are still operational today.
